Configuring Campaigns

Want to optimize each Campaign for a different purpose? Learn how in the article below.

Configuring Campaigns

Within Campaigns, you'll find several options to customize them using these configuration options. Changes to these options will be saved automatically. To access these options, first navigate to Campaigns.

Campaign Settings

Campaign Settings allow you to assign certain resources to a specific Campaign - for example, Phone Numbers, Scripts and Call Results.

Note: Assigning resources to a Campaign will sometimes mean that they will locked to that Campaign, and will not be available on other Campaigns. See the details noted on each type of resource below.

Campaign Name

To change the name of a Campaign, click on the Name field and enter a new name.

Assigning Phone Groups

If assigned, this Campaign will display only the selected Phone Groups to Leads dialed from this Campaign. Unrecognized inbound calls to the selected Phone Groups will generate a new Lead Profile in this Campaign when answered.

Note: Assigning Phone Groups to a Campaign will make them unavailable to other Campaigns.

To assign Phone Groups, click on the Select phone groups drop-down menu (1) and check the Phone Groups (2) you wish to assign.

Assigning Scripts

If assigned, the Lead Profiles originating from this Campaign will display only the selected Scripts.

Note: Assigning Scripts to a Campaign will make them unavailable to other Campaigns.

To assign Scripts, click on the Select scripts drop-down menu (1) and check the Scripts (2) you wish to assign.

Assigning Call Results

If assigned, Lead Profiles originating from this Campaign will display the selected Call Results, as well as any other Call Results which are not assigned to any Campaigns.

Note: Assigning Call Results to a Campaign will make them unavailable to other Campaigns.

To assign Call Results, click on the Select call results drop-down menu (1) and check the Call Results (2) you wish to assign.

Assigning TPV Hotkeys

If assigned, the Lead Profiles originating from this Campaign will display only the selected TPV Hotkeys.

Note: Assigning TPV Buttons to a Campaign will make them unavailable to other Campaigns.

To assign TPV Buttons, click on the Select TPV buttons drop-down menu (1) and check the TPV Hotkeys (2) you wish to assign.

CRM Fields

All CRM Fields are available to be assigned to Campaigns, including those which are hidden. If assigned, the Lead Profiles originating from this Campaign will display the selected CRM Fields along with the Standard CRM Fields.

To assign CRM Fields, click on the Select fields drop-down menu (1) and check the Fields (2) you wish to assign.

Campaign Variables

You can use Campaign Variables to place Campaign-specific information into Scripts or Email Templates. Learn more about using Variables here.

Notes about naming your Campaign Variable:

  • Campaign Variable Names should be different from existing CRM Field Names. If a CRM Field Name and a Campaign Variable Name are the same, the Variable Text from the Field Name will be used.
  • The characters _ : ' " @ and . cannot be used in a Campaign Variable Name.

To create a new Campaign Variable, click the +Add a new variable button.

You'll see a popup appear. Enter the new Variable Name (1) in the field provided and click the OK button (2).

You can now fill in the Variable Text that you want to appear in the Script.
