Want to apply a set of permissions to a User when you create them, or apply permissions via Folders? Roles are the way to go.
User Roles
User Roles contain a pre-selected set of Permissions. You can learn which permissions are part of each Role by reviewing the Permissions for User Roles below.
Note: In order to modify Permissions for a User, your own User Account must be enabled with one of the following:
- An "Administrative" Role
- The "Administrators" Group
- The "Team - Modify security" Permission
If you do not have one of these enabled, contact your System Administrator or Technical Support for assistance.
Applying Roles
Roles can be applied to Folders, or directly to a User. When a Role is applied to a Folder, the Users in the Folder can inherit their permissions from the Folder.
Note: When working within Folders, User Roles are labelled as "Organization Units".

Permissions for User Roles
The following User Roles are available to choose from:
- Administrative
- Users
- Sales
- Users-Limited Access
- Users-Openers
- Users-Closers
The pre-selected set of Permissions for each of these Roles are listed in the table below. Once a Role has been assigned to a User, Permissions listed as Disabled or N/A can be modified on an individual User basis as needed.
